to replacing the carved finials on the terrace with
exact replicas. Both in Gainesville and in Cedar Key
your work has been fairly priced and accomplished
with skill. Your work has shown real dedication to

and simpatico people. It was so convenient to be able
to trust you with the keys to both our homes, without
hesitation or concern. You have become almost like

much we enjoy coming home since 1st Impression cleaned
and painted the exterior of our house. Its funny,
even three weeks later, I am still finding places

Dear Michael,
Joan and I are pleased to recommend 1st Impression
Painting & Services, Inc. When I decided to paint
our house, a 1881 (plus additions) structure in Gainesville's
NE historic district, I asked for bids from only painters
who had experience prepping and painting houses made
of wood with substantial detail work and multi-storied.
I asked 1st Impressions to bid because I liked the
work you did at the Johnson and Woodhouse places on
NE Boulevard. I was very pleased when your bid turned
out to be low.
Your brother, Benny, is a master painter and a master
of detail. I don't think our house, which is mostly
simple construction, ever had its features pointed
out so clearly in paint-rattails, hardware, and so
forth. All the work was well prepped and all the paint
of the best quality was carefully applied by hand,
in multiple coats where necessary. The results are
very good and the total cost did not exceed the bid
price.
We heartily recommend that anyone looking for an excellent
